SPECTWARE MOVES INTO DOWNTOWN COLORADO SPRINGS HEADQUARTERS
Colorado Springs Technology Incubator Graduate Finds New Home
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (PR Web) June 12, 201
Spectware announced today that the company has moved into a new headquarters location in Colorado Springs. As a graduate of the Colorado Springs Technology Incubator (CSTI), the move supports CSTI’s goal of creating cutting-edge local businesses and marks another step forward for Spectware.
“We’re humbled and proud to take the important step of officially becoming part of the local economy,” noted Jan Horsfall, Spectware’s CEO. “We have a great deal of work to do, but we’re thrilled to do it right here within the emerging technology scene in Colorado Springs.”
Spectware’s move into a location off of West Cimarron Street comes as the company readies the rollout of SpectwarePro 3.0™, its popular cross platform mobile application for managing and inspecting the global population of cranes and other related heavy equipment.
“I’m really proud of the Spectware team,” added Dr. Ric Denton, CEO of CSTI. “They really grew up inside of CSTI. To see them now physically becoming part of our business setting here in Colorado Springs is very exciting. CSTI’s primary goal gets realized every time one of our clients becomes part of our local economy.”
Spectware, which provides an innovative, paperless, mobile application platform to the heavy equipment industry in order to dramatically increase productivity, adhere to all pertinent regulatory laws, and save the lives of crane operators, is moving into a major growth phase.
“It’s going to be a growth-based summer for us with the upcoming introduction of SpectwarePro 3.0, so it’s great to be settled before the real action takes place.” noted Horsfall. “Now it’s about spreading the word to our heavy equipment customers that they can comply, save a lot of money, and most importantly they can save lives.”
Founded in September 2009 by Eric Skinner, a certified crane inspector with over 20 years of industry experience, Spectware is a private Colorado Springs based company which provides a leading, paperless, cloud-based mobile application platform for the management and inspection of heavy equipment worldwide.
